Escalating VMware licensing costs, shrinking vendor support, and mounting uncertainty following the Broadcom acquisition turned Redington's core infrastructure dependency into a board-level financial and operational risk. The locked-in legacy stack blocked any path to cloud, AI, ML, or modern security adoption.
